Access equipment is also available in-house, such as scissor lifts to 50'. To cater for civil engineering operations, we have hydraulic breakers,. The majority of excavators under 30 tonnes are equipped with hydraulic quick-hitches. Also available are articulated and ridged dump trucks between 25 and 50 tonnes, loading shovels, skid-steer loaders and tele-handlers. The transport fleet has also been built around Lowery Demolition activities; low-loaders with a g.v.w. of 150 tonnes are capable of moving any item in the fleet and smaller items can bemoved using a plant body attached to any one of 10 hook loaders. Our fleet of 23 lorries allows material and plant to be moved efficiently on and off site. We also provide normal skips at 6, 8 and 12 yard sizes, we also supply Roll On/Roll Off bins in sizes of 20, 30 and 40 yards. Crushing and screening works have been undertaken for over 30 years. Modern remote controlled tracked equipment is available to produce the desired finished products. |

From Lowery Demolition's inception, the innovative use of plant and specialist equipment has put us at the forefront of our industry. That ethos remains as important as ever today. In fact, Lowery Demolition boasts one of the most extensive and specialised fleet in the UK which allows us to undertake our in-house works efficiently, safely, environmentally and to programme. However, external hire enquiries are also welcomed. The majority of our hire today is either on a self-drive basis or the hire of specialist equipment. At the heart of the fleet are 360 tracked excavators up to 50 tonnes, equipped as needed with specialist attachments. From mini through to high reach units, specialist attachments (rotating grapples, concrete cutters, plate or steel shears) are employed to increase productivity, safety and reduce operative fatigue. Lowery Demolition uses wood shredders to convert demolition waste into a valuable commodity. |
